Get the resources you need to plan your future through the Soroptimist Dream It, Be It Career Support for Girls program, which aims to help girls grow to be strong, successful and happy adults.
Soroptimist International of Ramona is planning to host a two-day (afternoon) workshop for school-age girls between 14-18 years of age, called DISCOVERING YOUR DREAMS, WHERE GIRLS WILL BE INSPIRED TO ENVISION THEIR FUTURE ASPIRATIONS. We will have things to do to help you figure out what goals you want to set for your future.
The Dream It, Be It one-day workshop will take place at Mountain Valley Academy in Ramona on Saturday, March 2, 2024, from 9:00 pm to 4:00 pm. Girls and their parents/guardians can ask questions regarding the program by emailing siramona@outlook.com or use our contact page to send us a message through our website ()
This is a FREE workshop where food, drinks, and supplies will be provided at no charge. There is no obligation except to attend and have fun while trying to figure out what you may want to do with your life as you grow. Our goal is to help girls grow up to be strong, successful, and happy adults!
What is a Give it Up/Match It Challenge? For better or worse, we all have small habits we engage in everyday. Maybe yours is buying coffee on your way to work or getting a soda as a mid-day-pick-me-up. Imagine how much you could save if you gave up your habit for just 30 days (or longer if you find you no longer need those things).
During this Challenge, you give up a habit/habits and donate the $ you would have spent to a non-profit…Your friendly Soroptimists of Ramona. All $ raised will go towards increasing our Scholarship fund.
Giving things up not in the cards for you? No worries, you can simply donate what you WOULD have saved had you given something up!
This Challenge is open to both Club members and our Community at large!

HOW TO PLAY: FIRST BINGO CARD IS FREE! Each person will receive 3 bingo cards free with RSVP, these will be emailed to the email address used to RSVP. The intent is to play 3 games during the evening so this will allow you to participate in every game using one card each game.
Additional cards are available for purchase on our website siramona.com under the Event Purchases Tab for $5. Each purchase will give you 3 additional cards to play with and will be sent to the email address you used to RSVP with. Purchases can be made prior to the event as well as during break times between games during the event. You can choose which games to use your additional purchases on. Once a card has been used for a game please do not reuse that card for any additional games. Further Rules of the game will be explained on night of event, and per game!

SILENT AUCTION: In addition, we will be holding a silent auction of both baskets and "dirty deeds"! Her book, Fighting For My Life, was just placed on Oprah's books to read list. You'll also hear engaging stories of who Soroptimist is, and what they do locally and international.
At 49 years of age, Jamie found out that she had a 91% genetic predisposition of having Alzheimers disease. She went on a research and testing journey that led her to founding B.A.B.E.S, Beating Alzheimer's By Embracing Science which raises money and awareness in search of a cure. This energy from the Alzheimer's community led her to write this book along with Dr. Marwan Sabbagh. They bring real-life experiences and an honest look at the psychological effects of genetic testing.
Soroptimist International of Ramona is part of an international organization that works to improve the lives of women and girls. We do this through our Dream programs which strive to empower and educate women and girls who face economic and personal challenges.
