RAMONA MAIN STREET CLEAN UP

HOSTED BY SOROPTIMIST INTERNATIONAL OF RAMONA & THE RAMONA CHAMBER OF COMMERCE

First we would like to thank everyone who came out to make this event successful!

Soroptimist International of Ramona along with the Ramona Chamber of Commerce hosted a Main Street Clean up on 10/31/2020, the morning after the Trick or Treat on Main Street event was held with all the local businesses handing out candy to our local kids. Due to the fantastic volunteers from the Ramona Boy Scouts Troop, Cub Scouts Troop, Ramona Girl Scouts Troop, Ramona High School FFA, Ramona Disposal Service, Ramona Chamber of Commerce and Soroptimist International of Ramona many bags of trash were filled from trash collected on our main street, helping keep Ramona clean! No Trash was left to haunt our town from 6th street to Ramona Street!

We were so excited to have so many volunteers of all ages come support our town!

During the event local artist, Tim Connelly, surprised us with taking photos of some of our Volunteers! Thank you Tim!

Girls Night Out!

Wow! What a night! Last night, April 26th, we hosted our biggest fundraising event of the year for Soroptimist International of Ramona. The energy and atmosphere was amazing. The evening was such a success with the help of all of our sponsors, the generous donations of our guest, and local businesses and above all our entertainment.

We featured Vicki Barbolak - Comedian and America’s Got Talent Finalist, the Mountain Tribal Gypsies - tribal style belly dance troupe, The Vaudeville Vixens Showgirl Troupe featuring Emeraude LaStarr, Joe Mystic - Magic extraordinaire, Sally Hilton - The Emcee of all Emcee’s, and finally our Stud Muffin Selling Opportunity Drive tickets - Darren Smith! With this killer combination the room was filled with broad smiling faces and uncontrollable laughter.

Ranch Events was decorated to the nines with excellent staff ensuring the event ran smoothly. Lighting was provided by Matt Way. Sound system provided by Ramona Music Center.

We would not have been able to make this event successful without out all of the support and generous donations so thank you everyone for everything and your continued support to Soroptimist International of Ramona as we strive to continue providing further support to our Dream Programs and Scholarships to further the economic empowerment of our young women and girls! It means more then you can imagine.
